Hi Guys.

Fish was an 82lb Catfish caught on the 1st of November 2009 after a wind swept 24hr session. Fishing pegs 1 & 2 with a friend i had the fish from peg 2 about 2ft off of the island on a single hook bait. Took around 20mins or so to land it and I was sweating a little as I only had 12lb line!

We are both members and can’t wait to get back over there again once the weather improves. Nev mentioned I should send you the pics and report as we think its the 2nd biggest fish in the lake and it was highly unusual to catch a Cat

Netting of the Specimen Lake 27-04-09

: After A very successful and professional attempt at a complete netting of the Specimen lake this was the largest catch, a 83.5lb feisty Cat fish. The largest Carp netted was a 24.75lb Mirror(pics to follow). Thank you to everyone who attended this cold, wet, yet effective netting event at Crowsheath Angling.

31.5lb Common 10-04-09

: This Fantastic Specimen was caught by Andy Clements on Friday 10th of April 2009. Casting out from swim 15, and after quit a battle, he successfully landed this 31.5lb Common. Nice one Andy:)
